Business Award for Safety!
Fedorowich Construction is proud to be the recipient of the 2020 Yorkton Chamber of Commerce's Celebrate Success Business Award for Safety. Receiving this award is a reflection of the high standard that we strive to maintain as a safety excellence leader in the industry and our community. The management supports coordination of all safety practices among workers, per industry best practices and in compliance with the legislated requirements as outlined in the Saskatchewan Employee Act and its Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
Our sincere gratitude to the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce, and Mission Zero Worksafe Saskatchewan for sponsoring the award. We take great pride in the fact that the Safety Award 2020 is the third Yorkton Chamber of Commerce Celebrate Success Business Award that we have received over the past few years. Some other prestigious awards include the Wall of Success 2010, and the Work and Family Balance 2014.
Since its inception, Fedorowich Construction has worked diligently to build a reputation and culture of safety excellence in the asphalt paving industry. Our ongoing Safety Program is closely monitored and documented to ensure the safety of our employees, suppliers, clients, and the public at large. Even today, we conscientiously participate in the Certificate of Recognition Program (COR), administered by the Heavy Construction Safety Association of Saskatchewan to maintain certification through regular auditing of our health and safety management system.
Fedorowich Construction is proud to be safety certified by reputed auditing companies like ContractorCheck and ISNetWorld. We received the group #3 HCSAS Provincial Safety Award for top safety performance in 2012. In 2016, we were nominated by the local Chamber of Commerce as a finalist in the annual Celebrate Success Awards event in recognition of Safety Excellence for all employees in the organization.

All employees, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall health and safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job, is necessary for the safety excellence that the company expects to stand by. In 2016, we were nominated as a finalist in the local Chamber of Commerce’s annual Celebrate Success Awards event in recognition of exceptional Safety Excellence in the organization.
